Swimming & Spas
Fiordland District Midwives is pleased to sponsor this page.
Fiordland Community Swimming Pool is located next to Fiordland College on Howden Street and is open during the summer months only. You can either buy a season pass, which gives you a key to get in at particular times, or you can attend the public swim sessions. The opening times for "key holders" and public swim sessions are on the Fiordland Community Swimming Pool website. You can also use the site for instructions on how to buy a season pass.
There is also a smaller pool at the primary school, again open in the summer, but only to "key holders" who pay for a season pass. Contact Te Anau school for details.
You can of course also swim in the amazing Lake Te Anau and Manapouri Lake. For more information, see our lake swim page.
